This is my favorite cafe in Tokyo. They sell French Toast all day. It's super cozy and it's underground. I usually order French Toast with Maple Syrup. But you can order one piece of French Toast with a cup of soup or a sandwich or with a salad. I find it a bit odd to eat french toast with salad or soup, but it's very popular here.

The french toast comes in many options. This time I ordered their seasonal option. It came with powdered sugar, chocolate sauce, apples, and whipped cream. I also ordered maple syrup on the side. When you order maple syrup it doesn't come as just maple syrup. It comes in a little dish like you see above with whipped cream in it. It's literally the best french toast I've ever had.

Once your food arrived you also get your check. I like this method because after getting the check unless you call them they just let you be. So you can stay as long as you want without a waiter constantly asking how you are. I also like that the smoking side is on the other side of the wall because this way the smoke doesn't carry over to the nonsmoking side.

This place is very popular though. So if you go on a weekend or a holiday be prepared to wait in line for a very long time. And it's not a big place so everyone has to wait on the stairs because the cafe is underground.. Here are some photos of people waiting on the stairs. They aren't very good because i was trying to take them without being noticed.

The line goes all the way to the top of the steps.

This is what it looks like from the outside. It's very hard to find if you don't know what to look for.

All my love,

Shanti
